After North Korea sent it cheerleaders and athletes to the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics in South Korea, South Korea has agreed to return the favor. On March 20, the two countries agreed that South Korea would send 160 artists to Pyongyang at the end of March. Some of these artists include Yoon Do Hyun, Cho Yong-Pil, and Red Velvet!

These 160 artists are sent to perform 2 different shows from March 31 to April 4. This news comes after Kim Jong Un announced that he wanted the North and South to have a better relationship.

Yoon Sang, a singer and record producer released a statement during a press conference saying,

“While we’re on the stage, I believe it will be difficult to portray personal feelings towards denuclearization. Our first task will be to instill the same awe in North Korean audiences as we do our South Korean ones and make sure nothing is awkward.”
